Monadnock Area Artists Association 2010 Juried Exhibit

I am very excited to announce two of my paintings have been juried into this exhibit, which was juried by Richard Whitney. The opening reception is Friday, June 18th, 5:00-7:00 pm. The exhibit runs from June 18 through July 17. Its at the Jaffrey Civic Center, in the Cunningham Gallery on the second floor. This is a lovely space, I hope you get a chance to check it out. Hours are Tuesday 10-6, Wed-Fri, 1-5 and Saturday 10-2

Hi everyone !

I have submitted five paintings for this exhibit…should be fun!

OFF THE WALL
JUNE 8 & 9

The Jaffrey Civic Center will be once again holding that fun-for-everyone fundraiser, “Off The Wall” over two days, June 8 & 9 (Tuesday & Wednesday). Each of these days the Center will open its doors at 5:30 to the public for this exciting event. Here’s how it will work. You’ll be briefed on the steps while enjoying refreshments on the first floor. Then at 6, you’ll be allowed to enter upstairs and begin making your purchases where you’ll have over 150 images from which to choose. At 8:30 pm the buying ends.

What’s so interesting about this?

All pieces are 5” x 7”, are not signed on the front, are not framed, and go for $60! There are oils, acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils and pastels to choose from. And if you buy three, you will get one free! There will be 100 frames to choose from and purchase that very night. And, if you like, they can help you put your oils and acrylics into your frame. Checks, cash, Mastercard and Visa will be accepted.

Spring has arrived, time to open the studio! Inspired by the flowers, birds, scenery and the wonderful warm weather is back. The studio will be open May 1, 10am-5pm. Stop in to say hello and check out some new artwork. This is one of the pieces, a pastel painting, inspired by and named for “Scenic New Hampshire”

"Late Day at Jaquith Road"

The annual members show will be held at the Red Roof Gallery, 11 High Street, in Enfield this year. I am submitting two pieces, “Spring Celebration” and “Late Day at Jaquith Road”. The show runs from April 10 through May 8. Hope you all get a chance to view the pastel paintings there.
